Strand SL Coolbeam ERS

SL Coolbeam spotlights have been designed to perform in today's tightly focused lighting rigs. These spotlights run brighter and cooler than traditional theatrical ERS fixtures due to the cold mirror technology used in their reflector design. The Strand SL offers 360 degree continuous gate rotation, interchangeable barrels, two gobo slots in addition to an iris slot and two double wide accessory slots at the front of the instrument. Available in a variety beam angles for differing throw distances, these fixtures also feature tool-less relamping and large knobs and shutters for easy use even when wearing gloves.

Recommended lamps: GLA, GLC

Selecon Pacafic Range

The Pacific features Selecon's unique base-down ellipsoidal design in a universal lamp house to which the wide range of optical systems (as per the list above) and light sources can be fitted. Light source options range from the new industry-standard compact filament to the very latest in lower voltage (80V) tungsten halogen lamps, MSR and compact metal halide long life display lamps (CDM/CMH).

ONE LAMPHOUSE, SIX LIGHT SOURCES, ELEVEN OPTICAL SYSTEMS!

With the single lamp house the Pacific is a truly universal profile, be it for a very short throw very wide angle (90°) beam with a long life lamp source for architectural applications (CDM) or for the longest arena throws using the Pacific 5.5°-13° Zoomspot with MSR or lower voltage tungsten light source.

Conceived from the beginning as a platform product, all the Pacific choices are delivered in purpose-designed modules not as an after thought "add on". As new light sources and optical systems become available they will be included as part of the Pacific range, future proofing your lighting installation!

All Selecon theatrical fixtures are supplied with pipe clamp, color frame, permamently attached safety cable and 36" lead

Selecon Acclaim Axial Zoomspot

The Acclaim Axial is a compact high performance, cool beam ellipsoidal profile with the power and precise beam control necessary for front stage lighting from auditorium positions and pattern image projections. The increased output of the latest in compact filament lamps, the efficiency of axial reflector systems and Selecon's custom optical design along with versatility of the variable beam angle make the Acclaim Axial Zoomspot the choice for the smaller to mid-size stage.

The beam of the Acclaim Axial is easily shaped using the shutters with their generous size handles. The two interchangeable zoom optical ranges provide for both longer throws from the auditorium to stage lighting positions (18°- 34°) and shorter over stage positions (24°-44°).

All Selecon theatrical fixtures are supplied with pipe clamp, color frame, permamently attached safety cable and 36" lead

Common Ellipsoidal Beam Sizes

When calculating the beam diameter of a given fixture you multiply its MF X the throw distance. The MF for many common beam spreads and lens sets are listed below. Please note these are not precision measurements, only approximate measurements.

Example for a 5° fixture at a distance of 50' you would multiply 50 X .09 to find a beam diameter of 4.5'.
