Drapery and Rigging Project Manager
Chicago location. Candidate must be energetic, creative, organized, self-starting, and
have good people skills. Job functions include responsibility for overseeing drapery and
rigging contract projects from start to finish. This includes project estimation, preparation
of submittals, correspondence with customers and manufacturers, scheduling of crews
and materials and coordination of project close out requirements.
Requirements:
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Computer literate in MAC and PC, including AutoCAD
• Familiarity with theatrical lighting and rigging manufactures
Duties:
• Coordinate contract requirements including insurance and bonding
• Prepare submittal documents
• Schedule materials and labor for installation and renovation projects
• Coordinate in house production schedules to meet project timelines
• Assist with contract sales specification, quotation and order closing
Candidate should have prior experience with and working knowledge of entertainment
lighting and rigging equipment; including their proper application.
